II. ACTIVITIES OF THE COUNCIL

Article 10. The Council encourages and assists the activities of all economic and non-economic subjects which have as their aim the enlargement of the Bulgarian-Turkish commercial and economic relations, by:

1. Cooperating with its members for the establishment of contractual links with the corresponding partners from the two countries;
2. Organizing economic forums, seminars, presentations, informing about coming fairs and exhibitions in the two countries and collaborating for the participation of its members in them;
3. Organizing business travels and meetings for its members in the two countries;
4. Organizing discussions of problems from exterior commercial, financial, currency and tax character, which pertain to the development of the bilateral ties and presenting summarized meetings and offers for changes and additions of the legislative base in front of the competent state authorities in Bulgaria;
5. Organizing meetings with representatives of the Bulgarian state bodies and administration for the discussion of issues, related to the development of the Bulgarian-Turkish commercial and economical bonds;
6. Organizing periodical meetings with representatives of the Embassies and the General Consuls of Turkey in Bulgaria, with the aim of presenting new chances for expanding the bilateral cooperation;
7. Establishing partnership ties with Turkish commercial and economical unions and organizations;
8. Cooperating for the provision of legal help when establishing and registering firms with Turkish participation in Bulgaria, as well as when preparing contracts and signing deals, and also for processual protection in court and the arbitrage.  
9. Creating and maintaining a web site of the Council with a database that has links to the bilateral business ties /taxes, tariffs, legislative acts, investment regime, etc./.
